Whilst typically we work on large developments providing elaborate façade systems Valcan products are also used extensively in smaller architectural projects and private homes.
With this project the architect wanted to create a cool, modern design in keeping with the beautiful coastline and seascape behind the property. The plain metallic colours and careful use of white and black create a modest feel that nevertheless has a great impact. Valcan were pleased to be able to help create this modern family home and were able to deliver all materials in a timely fashion.
Façade systems offer a number of advantages over brickwork and facades as they provide an extra layer of structure that keeps the elements away from internal structures. This is particularly useful in houses like this one as the sea air and weather conditions quickly wear paintwork.
