Harbour road in Gosport is a new 10 storey development for modern retirement living. The building offers 26 one bedroom and 19 two bedroom apartments with balconies overlooking the sea. The project from McCarthy and Stone was granted planning consent in the spring of 2015 with completion happening at the end of 2018.

The building offers panoramic views over Portsmouth harbour and the Solent with 48 separate units, a homeowner’s shared lounge and guest suite as well as 34 parking spaces located on the ground floor which forms part of the Gosport Waterfront Trail.

The building is made from a main structural frame of light gauge steel sitting on a waterproof reinforced concrete structure. The building is clad in a combination of materials with cladding included to create a stunning external façade which really brings the overall aesthetic into focus.

The architect for the development was Piper Whitlock Architecture Ltd and the builder was T&C Williams Limited.
