Brought to you by the publisher of RCI Magazine, the Façade Awards, now in its sixth year, recognises, rewards, and promotes excellency in the key discipline of façade design and application.
Through promoting the important collaboration between manufacturers and contractors, winning an award is a well-recognised badge of excellence amongst clients and peers.
Valcan won the "Best use of Fibre Cement Cladding Panels" category at the 2020 Façade Awards for the Vyners School project with Middlesex Facades and then again in 2022 for the Addington Valley Academy project alongside Eden Facades Ltd. In 2024, Valcan were shortlisted with Hamilton Construction in the "Best Refurbishment Project" category for Gary Court, Croydon.
From the creative and innovative use of products used on a project, to the complexity of the installation and the individuals who have demonstrated high quality across the industry, the Façade Awards recognises this through a wide range of categories, which cover all aspects of the sector.
The judges will be looking for a fibre cement product that has been installed on either a new build or refurbishment project, and that has been completed to a very high standard. With regards to a refurbishment project, judges will be looking to see how well the product has improved/complemented the existing building. The project should have been built on time, within budget and have either met or exceeded the client's expectations.
Qualifying projects must be completed between 1 June 2024 and 1 June 2025.
Winners from each project category will automatically be in the running for the RCI Project of the year category.
The deadline for entry is Friday 23rd May 2025
Please note:
The Façade Awards recognise the contractor who worked on the project and the manufacturer of the main product used for the project.
