Providence Place is a significant mixed-use development and regeneration project located in the heart of Maidenhead town centre. This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Barratt Homes. The development aimed to revitalise the area by providing modern residential units, commercial spaces, and various environmental improvements.

As part of the broader effort to enhance the safety and aesthetic appeal of Providence Place, a comprehensive recladding project was undertaken. The original facade, which featured timber planks, was replaced to meet modern safety standards and improve the building's overall appearance.

The recladding involved the removal of the original timber planks and the installation by North Hants Roofing (Central) Ltd of 815m2 of Valcan’s VitraDual aluminium panels. These panels were chosen for their durability, low maintenance, and aesthetic qualities. The panels were finished in an Elegant Teak colour and fabricated into interlocking panels to mimic the appearance of timber, providing a modern yet natural look to the building.

Providence Place stands as a testament to the successful collaboration between public and private sectors, aiming to create a vibrant and sustainable urban environment in Maidenhead.
