Ceramapanel Cladding Panels used in Alfred Gunn House Refurbishment

We recently visited the site of the Alfred Gunn House project to check on progress, and we were thrilled to see how our Ceramapanel cladding panels are helping to modernize the building's exterior. The effect is stunning, and we're proud to have contributed to the transformation of this building.

In addition to the refurbishment of the existing nine-storey block of apartments, the works in the high rise created ten new flats at roof level, three new flats, two new bed sits and office accommodation in the basement. 

The new houses comprised of trench-filled foundations with beam and block ground floors, masonry load-bearing cavity walls, tiled pitched roofs, plastered and decorated finishes, kitchens and bathrooms, UPVC windows and doors, and mechanical and electrical installations.

The project also involved the replacement of single-glazed windows with double-glazed tilt-and-turn aluminium composite windows, the creation of winter gardens through the upgrade of balcony doors and balcony extensions, and the installation of fire-resistant doors and screens to all floor levels. Other works included the creation of additional staircases, extensive fire-stopping measures, and the installation of new front entrance lobbies with secure key fob door entry systems.

The use of our Ceramapanel cladding panels in this project not only helped to modernise the building's exterior but also ensured its safety and durability. Our panels are easy to install and are available as a complete cement cladding system with a cladding subframe system, providing a cost-effective solution for modern commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
