19 Queen Elizabeth Street - a former warehouse, located in London, dates back to its construction in 1904. A redevelopment plan was set in motion to transform this space into a versatile mixed-use scheme. Burwell Architects designed both office spaces and 10 luxury apartments - including a new roof extension, creating a fourth floor.

To achieve this transformation, property developer Hollybrook Homes along with Dmitro Developments opted to clad the new level with our VitraDual aluminium panels.

The choice of the 5361 Corton 2 (Naturaline Metal Colour) panels not only added a contemporary feel to the new structure, but also ensured durability and longevity.

Hollybrook Homes received accolades for the redevelopment, including the Premier Guarantee Office Development of the Year award and the Highly Commended Premier Guarantee Excellence award for Refurbishments/Conversion. Testament to the exceptional work and thoughtful design that went into this transformation.

ABOUT VALCAN VITRADUAL

VitraDual is a pre-coated aluminium cladding panel that uses PVDF paint technology and achieves A1 fire rating to BS EN 13501-1 meeting the requirements for non-combustible facade panels for any building height. The panel comes in an extensive colour range as standard and custom colour options are also available.

VitraDual gives peace of mind to the contractor, occupants and clients alike achieving the A1 fire rating on any colour as well as being tested many times in full system BS8414 tests meeting the requirements of BR135. The panel has also been CWCT tested to wind loadings of 2.4kPa and is BBA accredited.
