The Adelphi Wharf development in Salford for Fortis Group consists of 3 phases offering over 500 residential apartments, roof-top gardens and urban landscaped areas as well as a gymnasium

Phase 1 offered 206 apartments, phase 2 was a 163 unit residential building and phase 3, the largest out of the development offers 224 apartments

For phases 2 and 3, over 19,000m2 of Vitrabond/A2 was chosen in 3 standard ‘Express Range’ colours for the facade panel to offer a rainscreen cladding system meeting the requirements of regulation 7 of the Approved Document B

Vitrabond/A2 is a 4mm thick A2 rated aluminium composite panel. The panel consists of 2 x 0.5mm aluminium skins either side of a mineral filled core. The panel can be used on any building height thanks to the A2-s1, d0 rating to BS EN 13501-1 and comes in an extensive range of both standard and customisable colours
