Allen Edwards Primary School is situated in the heart of Stockwell and takes children from Nursery through to year 6 with a total of almost 400 pupils. The school aims to provide a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere to ensure that the students are happy in school and show great pride in their achievements
With the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and as part of the Priority School Building Programme, Allen Edwards Primary School underwent a cosmetic transition to have a new school built that was fit and purposeful for teaching in the 21st Century. The new building was constructed by Galliford Try and the facade was installed by Middlesex Facades
To ensure that the exterior created a modern yet and clean appearance that was sympathetic to the surroundings, the main facade was finished in brick slips and the main panel used was Ceramapanel in 2 colours from the Natural Textures Touch range – 1001 Bleached Cotton and 1041 Linen
