Caro Point, Grosvenor Waterside - Chelsea

The Caro Point, Grosvenor Waterside project in Chelsea underwent a major renovation to replace the cladding on two luxury residential apartment blocks. The goal was to bring the building up to current Building Regulations standards.

The previous cladding, which contained combustible materials, was removed by main contractor Blenheim House Construction Ltd. VitraDual A1 fire rated panels in four metallic colours were chosen by DMWR Architects Ltd to replace the old cladding. The colours - Garnet Red, Aluminium Grey, Urban Grey, and Amber - not only ensure safety and compliance but also make the overall look of the building modern and appealing.

These panels were then expertly installed by Fleetwood Architectural Aluminium Ltd while the building was fully occupied. Careful planning and management were crucial to minimise disruption to the residents.

The end result is a stunning façade with a mix of vibrant colours that catches the eye. It was great for Valcan to be part of such a great project and thank you to everyone who was involved including Patrick Ryan Associates.
