Recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating on a significant project at Aston University, Birmingham. We supplied our VitraDual® Panels for the recladding of the Harriet Martineau and Mary Sturge student accommodations.
Covering a total area of 4700m2. Our contribution included the provision of panels in a sophisticated palette of Zinc Light, Enigma Black, Signal Grey, and Frost White.
Working alongside our reliable distributors, FGF, our panels reached the hands of the experts at Metclad, cladding specialists based in Nottinghamshire. Their skilful installation truly brought out the potential of our panels, and it was a privilege to see VitraDual® become a part of such a significant development.
Harriet Martineau and Mary Sturge accommodations, located within Aston University, provide a home for over a thousand students. With our VitraDual® panels now a part of these buildings, we're proud to indirectly serve these students by enhancing the spaces they live in.
Each VitraDual® panel undergoes a stringent series of tests including BBA certification and CWCT testing process for wind loads, rain, and impact, which ensures their dependability for both recladding and new build projects.
This project showcases the possibilities of collaboration in the construction industry, where each party plays a crucial role. We at Valcan are pleased to have contributed our VitraDual® Panels to this project and look forward to future opportunities to work with FGF and Metclad.
