The IQ Student Accommodation at Wilmslow Park in Manchester offers a range almost 200 en-suite rooms with social space and good transport link to local amenities and universities.
The original build was constructed using a mix of terracotta, composite panel and high pressure laminate panels for the rainscreen facade however, in 2020, a reclad went underway using in excess of 6,000m2 of VitraDual to provide an A1 non-combustible rainscreen replacement.
IQ Wilmslow Park was shortlisted in the “Best Use of a Rainscreen System Using Aluminium” catergory at the 2021 RCI Facade Awards.
