Vyners School in the London Borough of Hillingdon was a new build project designed by Noviun Architects and constructed by Farrans.    A bright, vibrant and durable facade was requited so the project used 1000m2 of Ceramapanel installed as secret fixed panels.    For added protection, the colours were selected from the Natural+ range

Ceramapanel is a compressed fibre cement panel available in A1 and A2-s1, d0 rated options to suit clients, building owners and insurers needs,.   The colours chosen for this project were from the Natural+ range in the Textures Raw finish, these colours offer excellent anti-graffiti performance – within the Natural+ colour range are 13 colours to suit all projects.    Ceramapanel is also available in Natural range which offers an additional 6 finishes to choose from over 13 colours and the Painted range offering unlimited colour choice for your facacde

About Vyners School

Vyners School is a mixed 11-18 Academy that consistently achieves high performance on GCSE and A-Level, in 2019, 87% of students gained a standard pass (grade 4) in both Engllish and Maths at GCSE level with 65% achieving  strong pass (grade 5) in these core subjects

In 2020, Farrans won a ‘Highly Commended’ award for the Best Public Service or Educational Building at this year’s LABC Awards, recognising our work on Vyners School in Middlesex.  The LABC Regional Building Excellence Awards are the largest business to business awards in the UK

On Thursday 11th February 2021, the project received the award for Best Use of Fibre Cement Cladding Panels at the virtually held RCI Facade Awards UK 2020.
