Vitrabond rainscreen cladding panels comprise two metal sheets with mineral filled polymer or mineral filled core (A2) available.Composite panels are available in standard or custom sizes. Standard sizes are; Width(mm) 1000*, 1250* or 1500*, 1750 and 2000mm *Standard Length (mm) 3200 or 4000 – custom lengths are available from 1000-6000mm Core 3 mm Overall panel thickness 3mm, 4mm (Standard) or 6mm Weight: Varies by core Delivery: Panels can be delivered across the UK and Europe. All panels are wrapped and packed on quality pallets and delivered via our own transport to ensure safe arrival.
Installation and Design
Vitrabond panels can be incorporated into back-ventilated and drained cladding systems. The cavity behind the cladding system should be a minimum of 50mm wide and protected to prevent the ingress of birds, vermin and rain. Cladding system maintenance is simple and cost effective. An annual* cleaning regime is recommended using soapy water or a pressure hose. Annual maintenance inspections should be carried out to check that features such as panels, flashing and seals are in place and ancillary fixings are secure. Damaged panels can be replaced on an individual basis without compromising structure integrity. *Depending on location, some buildings particularly those in areas of high pollution, may need a wash down more often.
Vitrabond has acceptable durability and can be expected to have a service life in excess of 30 years (see section 10 of BBA Certification 12/4901) For more information regarding installation and maintenance please refer to our technical brochures, available below.
Sustainability & Environment

We are constantly working towards improving the materials we work with and towards achieving ISO certification. Vitrabond is fully recyclable both the core material and the aluminium cover sheets.
