VitraDual Aluminium Cladding is an A1 rated, non-combustible, high impact resistant solid panel providing exceptional durability and mechanical benefits.
VitraDual is designed to provide a non-combustible aluminium panel solution that can be fitted as both cassette panels and flat sheets with no oil-canning appearance which offers a cost effective non-combustible and aesthetically please alternative to other flat sheet panel systems. VitraDual works with our existing cladding panels Vitrabond when required
The system uses a 2mm or 3mm non-combustible aluminium cladding panel which is a durable, impact resistant solid panel which can be prefabricated through curving, rolling or perforation.
VitraDual uses the Vitrabond/Vitracore PVDF coating system which boasts superior quality and our full colour matching range as well as RAL colours, stone and wood effect finishes. VitraDual cladding panels are prefinished which means they do not need fabrication prior to the coating process. This is unlike standard powder coated systems and means we are able to provide reduced lead times, reduced damage and lower costs.
Lightweight – Vitradual is incredibly rigid and lightweight and is therefore also easy to install.
Non-combustible – A1 rated to EN13501-1
Versatile – Vitradual can be custom designed into a wide range of shapes and dimensions as well as able to be perforated or curved in some
applications making it a versatile design choice.
Maintenance- easy to maintain compared to polyester based coatings.
High Durability – Vitradual panels are highly durable and impact resistant. They can be used effectively in high traffic areas.
Paint System – Vitradual only use the highly recognised PVDF KYNAR 500 or FEVE paints known for their high durability, providing the optimum resistance to weather and industrial pollutants.
Warranty – Vitradual has up to a 20 year warranty when installed by a licensed installer.
Extremely Flat – Low Surface Stress
VitraDual is one of the few large format cladding panels that are truly 100% non-combustible achieving A1 to EN13501-1. Also tested to BS8414-2 for fire performance of external cladding systems and compliant to BR135 requirements, VitraDual gives the insurers, architects, contractors and building owners peace of mind on product specification.
|EN13501-1||A1 / Non-combustible|
|BS8414 / BR135||Pass / Compliant|
What Does A1 Rated Mean?
Class A1 – Products are described as having no contribution to fire at any stage. BS EN 13501 sets several thresholds for combustion performance when tested to both EN ISO 1716 and EN ISO 1182. One of these thresholds is a maximum heat of combustion of 2MJ/kg. Typical products meeting this classification include most inorganic materials such as stone.
Vitradual only uses the highly recognised PVDF KYNAR 500, or FEVE coating systems known for their high durability. These premium paints provide an optimum resistance to weather and industrial pollution.
Vitradual is available is a wide range of colours and finishes, see our extensive colour charts here.
Vitradual is also available in textured finishes to mimic natural surfaces such as stone, giving a further dimension to any project.

Typical Panel Composition
- Protective film
- PVDF-Kynar 500 coating system
- 2mm or 3mm aluminium
The material is rigid, resistant to blows, breakage and pressure, and has high bending, buckling and breaking strengths.
There are two main methods for fixing Vitradual cladding. These are the Cassette Fix and the Rivet Fix Methods. You can see the main differences in the two build ups shown below.
